City of Moreland

When the Melbourne council of Moreland set a plan to go net zero by 2040, they needed a clear way to let residents know what they were up to.

I helped illustrate how their 2040 plan would incorporate changes at the household and community levels, as well as the political ‘call for action’ level.

Their three main areas marked for emissions reduction are energy, transport and consumption and I worked to draw these together into a simple but powerful visual to be shown all over their council area. They were also a key item at the Climate emergency Summit in Melbourne in 2019.

Brenna acknowledges the Minang and Bibbulmun people of the Noongar nation as the traditional owners of the Boodjar/Country where she works, lives and grows food. She is deeply grateful to elders past and present for their care and protection of this Boodjar over countless generations.  Sovereignty was never ceded.
