Break Free From Plastic

Break Free is a media-savvy vibrant global movement that works towards a world free of plastic pollution. They take a holistic approach to bringing about lasting change at every stage of the plastic value chain, from extraction to consumption and disposal.

I was brought on board to create a series of five graphics to explain the Break Free From Plastic social justice principles. It’s heartening to see that organisations that started out with one focus are now expanding to incorporate social justice and other issues alongside their environmental messaging.

These images were widely shared on social media by the big accounts including Greenpeace (3.8 million followers) and the United Nations EP (2 million followers).

Brenna acknowledges the Minang and Bibbulmun people of the Noongar nation as the traditional owners of the Boodjar/Country where she works, lives and grows food. She is deeply grateful to elders past and present for their care and protection of this Boodjar over countless generations.  Sovereignty was never ceded.
