Bob Brown Foundation

In the lead up to the 2018 Australian election, Bob Brown, the former leader of the Australian Greens, led a convoy of over 200 people from Southern Tasmania to the north of Queensland to raise awareness about the proposed Adani Coal Mine and its potential impact on the climate.

'Vote Climate' was the message, and at each stop on the trail the convoyers stood in solidarity with the Traditional Owners of that country in a peaceful protest against the coal mine.

I created the map, as well as a series of graphics to promote the event. These were later included in the book ‘Convoy’.

Brenna acknowledges the Minang and Bibbulmun people of the Noongar nation as the traditional owners of the Boodjar/Country where she works, lives and grows food. She is deeply grateful to elders past and present for their care and protection of this Boodjar over countless generations.  Sovereignty was never ceded.
